SB:NTWRK Atlas / 1 - masterpiece. Absolute masterpiece. This is easily one of the greatest bass music releases of 2021... There's not much else I can say - I'm at a loss for words, really. Hats off to the man Alix Perez and all the other talented artists who participated in this. Phenomenal work! Favorite track: Eprom - Dangerous Sound.

indigenous.junglist Been supporting 1985 Music since ONEF 001. Cool to see the growth and expansion of styles. This compilation reminds me of Edition 1 similar to how it’s fresh with music from a variety of artists. Definitely feeling the 140bpm stuff on this but what had me supporting 1985 from the jump is the deep, dark drum & bass heard in an Alix Perez set. Also, one thing to note how he’s reached back to his early liquid sound in combo with his newer releases. Visages - Nibiru is my pick on the 140 bits. For us at 1985 Music, our Various Artists series are extremely important. It not only provides a great platform to celebrate music from a wide range of artists, but it also enables us to promote both veterans and newcomers in the scene and to introduce them as part of our extended family.

We have had great success with our first series of VA releases called Edition, for which there were 3 parts. This year, we present our next Various Artists release, named Atlas. This LP features both established artists and newcomers to the scene, as well as label staples and label newcomers. Atlas features Deft, Visages, Drone, Nymfo, Monty, Alix Perez, Echo Brown, Foreign Concept, Headland, Safire, DRS, Nymfo, and of course, Eprom. Atlas is a journey through numerous styles and tempos, showcasing a group of the most talented artists in bass music today.

Atlas will be released on digital on 9th July 2021 - as a 3 piece vinyl set which will be available for shipping in September. More updates soon.
